Trompe L'Oeil Windows
'The Waterfront' on South Main Street

In 2009 I was commissioned to paint a series of trompe l'oeil windows on the outside of
'The Waterfront' shopping and entertainment center along South Main Street, in the heart of downtown Port Chester, NY, one building at a time.

The facades of buildings number one, two, three, seven, and eight have been completed, with three buildings remaining.

I would like to thank G&S Investors for commissioning me, as well as Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla for his invaluable support.

Mural in the Bronx, N.Y.C.

This mural in the Bronx, N.Y., sponsored by Sparrow Construction Company
in 1992, was one of my favorite public commissions.

Six stories high and 28 feet wide, it is across the street from an elementary school.

The mural can be found at the intersection of Marcy Place and Sheridan Avenue, one block east of the Grand Concourse, and one block south from 170th St.

The surrounding community garden was designed by the N.Y. Botanical
Gardens. I designed this mural to add brightness to the neighborhood.

Mural in the Museo del Artigianato, Pigna(IM), Italy

In 1995 I was asked by the admistrators of Pigna(IM), Italy, the village where I have a home and studio, to paint a mural on one of the walls of their local museum of rural culture.

The mural tells the story of the cultivation of wheat, which is a somewhat challenging enterprise in the mountainous terrain surrounding the village.

Included in the mural are the 'Church of Miracles', and Mount Toraggio, the southernmost high peak of the Maritime Alps.
The museum is located in Piazza XX Settembre.
